Red indicates the file or folder is not accessible atm such as a network drive being off line. Verify you can reach the file/folder from the computer you're running mediaportal from.

I have the same problem. the item appears red but i can play it! so it exists! The problem appeared when i added the tvshow, and i did that during thetvdb.org down period. That might have something to do with that.

Nothing special in the files name.

quick fix, remove it, rename the file if it was called like Series_02x39.avi
    just change the _ to a .

    Series.02x39.avi

and add it again, then TVsreies should see it as new and add it again, and this time no problems :)
    thats what i did..

This also happens if the videofiles are stored in DVD. Is it possible to disable this red colour?
    Thanks

i think that red also indicated that the episode doesn't exists.

i like to see the whole series seasons even if i don't have them (flag the "show only local epiodes"),
so i can choose to d/l it with torrent or see if i have a missing file or check out the next air time for an episode.

so again, red doesn't mean a problem always, right?

    I'm having the same problem.

All my newly imported series/episodes shows up properly in the config, with thumbnail and everything but in MP (Regardless of Skin) they are red and none of the Seasons/Episodes show up. I only get an empty screen like the author of this thread.

The weird thing is that series that worked before do not work now and all files are stored localy on the same computer and MP can access the files properly.

Im running the latest build of the plugin (12april) and MP 1.0.1.

    Any ideas?

OK....perhaps impatient of me I know, but went for a full reinstall....and now up and running once more. Have no idea what was at the root of this problem....still wondering if it may've been due to a Win11 update earlier this week?

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1

So, you're power cycling the TV, but not putting the PC to sleep ? In General => Startup/Resume settings, try checking "Ignore Windows resolution/size changes" In Codecs and Render, try selecting the specific audio device rather than "Default DirectSound device" Just ideas, no guarantee this will do anything. If this doesn't work, I...
