I find this removal to be appropriate given that is really an issue that she will need to take up with the individuals that did not ask her permission. Going through that thread it seemed that they were working towards an understanding.

In all reality, it's best to take it offline from here anyway.

    Just my input...

I never saw that post, but then again, some posts were lost after the migration to the new Forum engine, could this be the answer?

Vanessa deleted the thread on his/her/its own, he/she/it didn't like what was written there (critics from my side & wertzui). This won't happen anymore.

Unfortunately this more than interesting thread is lost now. Sorry to the interested community, also to the SageTV community. This didn't happen in the team's spirit.

One word to the SageTV community: I've never seen such nice reactions on started flaming against another HTPC community. All my respect to you! Let's keep this nice tone, you impressed me quite a lot!

Ok, thanks much. I will look into the instructions above. For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos. Works, so far.

I did a check of MP 1.36 x64 on Win11 and I can confirm, that the TV server correctly detects running MediaPortal.exe process.

I used to use the grabber but a few years back it disappeared on FreeSat DVBS. That is when I changed to EPG Collector. The extra benefit is that it collects from the Sky platform so it will give EPG for all the FreeSat channels plus the unencrypted movie channels on the Sky platform. It also allows me to pick the channels dedicated...
