When watching recorded TV, TV tuner turns off? (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

When I watch recorded TV it turns off the TV tuner.

Is there a way to fix this to keep the TV tuner running when watching recorded TV?

Sorry if has been mentioned but could not find anything on it or just missed it.

Why would you want to keep it going if you are not watching or recording TV?

Takes a while for the TV tuner to turn back on.

Can you tell me why they turn the TV tuner off for?

I would presume its turned off so that it can be available when another MediaPortal-Client or Scheduled-Recording want access to it. I understand your problem with the slow start, but the TV-Server was designed to only start the TV-tuner when its being used...so I think you are stuck with how it works

Thats cool, thanks for the info, understandable but I suppose an option would be nice.
