Where is Channel 4 HD? Is it called something else? (1 Viewer)

I've run scans on 28.2 E on Astra 2A/2B/2D and Eurobird 1 and have picked up loads of channels (most of which are junk of course) but I can't find Channel 4 HD anywhere. Is it by any chance listed as something else? I know ITV HD was listed as just a number when I first found it.

I'm sure it must be there somewhere? Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry to post this but you seem to be doing much better than me in finding ITV HD. I have scanned and found many channels which include all the Freesat ones such as BBC HD but I can't find ITV HD.

    Any help please..?

    The elusive ITVHD

Took me ages to find it too - it was just numbered 10510 the trouble is of course that it only actually works occasionally because it's normally a "red button" service so unless you go to it when there's something happening then you may see nothing - or perhaps a placeholder logo. But believe me it is there - I was watching West Ham vs Hartlepool in glorious HD only yesterday - it looked beautuful - shame you couldn't really say that about the football :D

I think that for the moment C4 HD is only available from the Sky platform, so encrypted etc.
Hopefully this will change in the near future.

    CH4HD

I understand about it being encrypted - what I don't get is that I can't see it - I seem to see all of the other encrypted channels even though I can't view them.

I have to say the number of HD channels on Fresat and Free-to-air is very disappointing. Especially CH4 which is after all free to view any other way. I have BBC HD (when it's broadcasting), ITV HD (when it's broadcasting), and Luxe TV HD (which despite being very beautiful in all it's HD glory is a bit sick-making).

Hopefully more will arrive soon to make use of this DVB-S2 card (which is yet to earn its purchase price) worth having - Mr Murdoch does not really need to get any richer does he?

It is likely that there is a contract in place that has to expire before CH4 HD becomes unencrypted.

On a similar topic - nice to see that the radio times xml now has data for ITV HD. need to go set that up!

woot - thanks very much for your help. I too can now receiver ITV HD - for what it is worth, at the moment :D

My 7010ix Pinnacle card has been worth the £30 I paid for it :)

Thanks for posting the piccie madkevo, that helped a treat. It does seem as though ITV HD will not clash with much, with such a feature packed schedule. :D

I've not heard of Luxe TV HD...

Sadly you are correct, too many people seem reluctant to share information. Then again there are others who are more magnanimous and generous, like you :)
