Where should I submit new banners for MyTVSeries (thetvdb.com) (1 Viewer)

First up, sorry if this re-treads old ground... I'm a noob, and I only searched fairly quickly.

Just installed MP and MyTVSeries, and still tinkering (intial parsing probs etc), but all in all, I'm hugely impressed. Have been wanting to upgrade from my XBMC set up for a while...

Anyway - have had a few series show up without banners (they're pretty obscure UK shows, so I'm impressed they're recognised at all) such as Nathan Barley, SuperNova and Coogan's Run.

If I want to add banners for these, what should I do?

As I understand, I can't add these manually myself, but that would be selfish anyway. I have produced reasonably slick banners as part of my job (for a games publisher) and have access to assets from someone working on a different TV related website. So I'd rather create these banners and get them added to tvdb.com so that (a) I minimize tinkering at my end and just re-import (!) and (b) so that others can use them.

Is this possible? If so, what are the specs (resolution, display size etc) and where should I send them?

Thanks in advance, looking forward to getting stuck into some MP stuff in the weeks to come

You're much better off creating a profile on thetvdb.com and uploading images and episode details. I've just started doing if for some of my son's cartoons - Ben10, Transformers etc. I found this out the hard way by manually editting the TVSeriesDatabase4.db3 with all new flashy gfx and season/series info only to find that when refreshing everything got wiped. You live you learn :D

Thanks for the pointer, Inker... all seems straightforward enough. Will get on with that on my day off...

Psycho Reptile... this is certainly the route I'm going down! I've had similar lessons in the past... I figure if someone else already went to the trouble of making this an automated process, I shouldn't disrespect them by doing anything manually!! Plus, I'm dangerous when I tinker

*looks guiltily at frankenstein PDA remote (un)control*

And seeing as this is all open-source loveliness that I use and enjoy... but have never contributed to in any way, it gives me a chance to give a little something in return.
