Where to now for fan art? (1 Viewer)

I'm well aware that this plugin is no longer supposed, and hasn't been for some time.

However I'm surprised that someone else hasn't picked up the ball and run wit it as fan art is something that really makes MediaPortal look great.

Several versions ago I was able to download and get the hacked version by @Sebastiii working, but I am now testing 1.9pre and have not been able to get this to work. Sadly due to re-installs my Music library is bare with no fanart.

Is there any other options out there that I am not aware of? I'm not even sure what to search for.

After a bit more digging I came across this in Area 51:

This works well, and I now have my backdrops back.

Yup this could do with some attention.

Fanart Handler was doing scraping and also pushing the art to a skin. I would like to see MP handle the pushing art to skin part while leaving scraping to various plugins.
