[ATI] Which CAT is working for you with IGP? (1 Viewer)

I'm asking this question because I've been getting ati2dvag BSOD with 11.2, 11.1 and now 10.12 with my HD3300 IGP (Biostar TA790GXBE)

I think I was previously using 10.10 without any problems, so I'm going to try that next.

I have got the VNC mirror driver installed, so perhaps that's the problem. I'll uninstall it once I've made a partition image, as I recall last time I tried XP couldn't boot any more!

Incidentally, I've noticed the IGP/NB gets really hot when there's no driver installed (I've just uninstalled 10.12). It normally idles around 40-45C. Now it's showing 66c!

I am using 11.1 still. I get random (rarely) a crash with higher versions.

Looking at your system, it seems you're using a PCI-E card rather than the IGP though. Is that right?

Yeah, thats correct. PCI-X audio (Xonar is a bit sucky though) and a PCI-E HD5670
IGP and onboard sound is disabled.
