Hello,

I've been looking around for a good digital tuner card for quite some time now. But I need help because I suck with hardware. I've got a budget of about $150AUD and am looking for a nice digital card that has high picture quality, is HDTV, changes channels swiftly and records. Extras would be nice =]

i think the channel change speed is a MP problem, not specific to any card.

I am running a Compro DVB-T300. which is a Hybrid card (Digi HDTV and Analog) but MP doesnt suppor tanalog for the moment. it was less than $100 and im very pleased with it.

I've been thinking about getting the Leadtek DTV2000H Hybrid TV Tuner. I know Leadtek is a well known popular brand. Unless anyone has any objections?

EDIT:

I've known that it's been on the support list but am still not sure how good the card is. Can someone please tell me if the card has any lag whilst changing channel or any other problem.

I went with all Hauppauge for my box and havent been disappointed. Baring in mind that they do have their price premium, their driver support is second to none. The supplied application like other cards is garbage (more so then other brands I think).

I think if I was to do it again, Id just spend the amount of the Nova-T500 (dual DVB-T), rather than coughing up $400 for the pair.
