Which DVB-C card to buy for use with Media Portal? (1 Viewer)

I want to buy a DVB-C Card and this should work very good (better perfect) with Media Portal.

Here some of the candidates I found in the net.

- not to find written on HP that this is real a DVB-C card, but i read so much on the web about it, that it must be so

I will buy a TT-budget C-1500 DVB-C as soon as thay are in stock. It is on the MP suported list.

There is also a CI module avalable for it for 29,90€. But i don't think you can use it with MP yet.

I had the bought the twinhan mini cab dvb-c and they hadn´t worked with media portal. I send it back and try now another.

Someone knows, if the upper Technotrend really works with Media Portal and in Germany with dvb-c?

The Twinhan was on the supportet list too, but doesn´t work.

The twinhan Cab-CI will be supported, just be patient

i think thier is only one dvb-c card that works now... check "definite working" list

Hm im not willing to be patient. I bought this one for one week only for Media Portal. If this don´t work, i don´t need the card. So i sent it for a few minutes back.

I tried to get the card working the whole week, with all tutorials that i found, but never i get a signal and never found a channel. It was not the Twinhan CI , it was only the normal Twinhan DVT Mini Cab.

The Technisat Cablestar2 definitly works with MP 0.1.3.0? Or what i have to do to get this thing working?

The Technisat Cablestar2 doesnt work with MP 0.1.3.0

Im going to include the support in MP 0.2.0
It's working in test at home, I have to finish test and support for all xxxStar model of Technisat.
