Hello :)

I have installed MediaPortal on my HTPC with Tv-series plugin. It works great. All this computer does is running MP. I don't want to be bothered with viruses and a computer running slow, so i want to install a program that deletes all changes after reboot, except the folders that mediaportal use. I installed MP on a drive, which is not the system drive. Working perfectly, even though not recommended.

I have set system drive to reset at reboot using Windows Steady state. The drive where MP is installed is not reset. Even though, my settings for library in MP-TV series plugin and Moving Pictures is deleted. Where are these files stored?

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Database\TVSeriesDatabase4.db3. What database is this? Cant find it in explorer.

Thanks for all help :)

Can't find the folder even when showing hidden files and folders and show system files. What folders save settings in Mediaportal?

So this is the only file saving all settings in mediaportal for Tv Series plugin, like what episodes I have watched, settings for menus etc? Is it possible to change location for this file? I have problems finding it. Windows says the location does not exist. Maybe i should try using cmd to find it.

    Thanks for all help :)

    I was a little fast, ryan20021982

I've found the database now. No problem. Earlier the folder was inaccessible, but now the files are there. I see that there is a lot of database files there. Any way I can move these to another folder and make them load from this new folder? :)

    Hi there :)

You can move the database location by editing mediaportaldirs.xml and change the database folder.

I came up with an idea of my own. I use allwaysync to backup database to another partition. At startup it picks up the files again. Works flawlessly, but your suggestion is the most effective way to do it. I will try it when i get home. Thank you :)
