Which RF remote? (1 Viewer)

Hi!

Since my remote (Marmitek PC Control) stopped working I'm looking for a new one.

I have the following candidates atm:
- Medion X10 remote
- MCE remote (RF version)
- ATI Remote Wonder
- Logitech UltraX

Now I want to know which one's the best for / most functioning with MP.

The list is no closeds one so feel free to add your favourite (keep in mind: it has to be a RF remote).

I use 2 Medion X10 here and am very happy with them. MP support is great and the range is enormous. Oh and I think they are cheap to get on ebay.

Its pretty simple...since X10 is working fine AND cheap AND well supported

Okay, the Medion should be the one to go. But one thing I'd like to know:
With the Marmitek I couldn't use all buttons because there were about 2-3 pairs of buttons which sent the same command. How's that with the Medion?

I had bought the ATI Remote Wonder to use with Media Portal and am now ready to soak it in gasoline and set it on fire. It seems that if I configure it in MP, then I cannot use the ATI drivers, and therefore it only works in MP, in a limited manner (no mouse control).

I'm ready to toss it and start again if there is a working solution.

Yes, I've got me a Medion remote last week. And it works like a charm. But it has no mouse control - so I don't know if it suits your needs...

Do you use the remote for the OS or any other apps on that machine? or is it strictly used with Media Portal?

I am looking for a remote to us with MP. I have tried to find this Medion X10 remote, but cant find it anyway. Have tried ebay with no luck. Can any1 help me?
