Hallo,
I am looking for a AM2+ mainboard for a Athlon X2 4850e CPU. One of my favorites is the following:
- Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H

But I read about problems using the AMD/ATI 780G onboard grafik chip connected to my Sony Bravia KDL-3500D over HDMI.
1) So has anyone good experience with this board?
2) What about the used "HD 3200" grafik chip and HDMI connection problems? Do they still exist or was AMD able to fix these issues?
3) Otherwise any other good suggestion for a stable HTPC Mainboard?

Regards,
Gerrit

I have a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H.

I found that the onboard graphics were a tad weak for stutter free playback of HD and best de-interlacing so I added an HD4550 - which sort of spoils the point of a cheap MB.

Well, I've never had any trouble with my 8300. I think the equivalent Intel-supporting chipset is the 9400. For some reason Nvidia decided that 8200/8300 would match up with 9300/9400, god knows why!
