Okay, I have no previous experience with computer gaming, let alone a Logitech Rumblepad, so I guess that's why I just can't get it working. I have a cordless Rumblepad & am trying to get it to work with MyEmulators or My Programs. I'm starting with MAME, but I'll be running Project 64 & zsenesw for SNES. Using the Logitech software, I created a MAME profile, but I'm not sure what to map to where. I read on a MAME forum about pressing F9 (I think) when starting a game to find the controls, but I don't know if this is generic enough for all games. I'm used to a modded XBOX & the controllers. 1) Can anyone help with button mappings? If I launch MAME outside of MediaPortal, I can use the Rumlepad to browse the ROM list, launch a game & sort of control it (not very well though), but in MyEmulators, I get to the ROM list & pick a game & the Rumblepad won't work. 2) Is there anything I have to do in MyEmulators to get it to use the Rumblepad? In the Logitech Profiler, I tried mapping Alt-F4 to a button, but it records ALT button pressed F4 button pressed F4 button released ALT button released so when I press this button, it doesn't exit the game, but it brings up some test screen. 3) What's the ALT-F4 command & can I type it in manually? I guess most, if not all, my problems boil down to button mapping, but I'm totally lost. I'm almost at the point of modding another xbox & using that, but that defeats the purpose of an HTPC, doesn't it? Thanks for any help. It's most appreciated!
