Why is the dvr-ms picture so jerky? (1 Viewer)

Why is the dvr-ms picture in MP so jerky whereas via Windows Media Player is the picture perfectly fluent?

Both use nVidia PureVideo decoder HW accelaration

ps: is any way to save deinterlaced dvr-ms?
