Wich skins for my Plasma 1024x768 16:9? (1 Viewer)

Hello,
wich stable skins I can use for my new TV Plasma 16:9, at 1:1 map resolution 1024x768pixels?

1) Skins get resized to the desktop resolution. So if you have set your desktop correctly, you will be fine.

2) 1024x768 is nowhere near 16:9 (it is 4:3) - I presume like most plasmas, pixels are "wide" not square (some are even worse with 16:9... 1024x1024 panels!) ...Thank God plasma technology is fast dying to be soon completely replaced by LCD. Real "wide" resolutions are 1280x720 (16:9), 1280x768 (16:10), 1366x768 (almost 16:9) and the One And Only TrueHD 1920x1080 (16:9).

3) You will probably need one (any) of the 16:9 skins. Because of 1 above, it will be "compressed" to 1024x768 but look ok on your 16:9 screen.

4) I have some doubt that you can easily map your desktop 1:1 (no overscan) to your plasma panel.

There are currently no native widescreen skins, i.e. skins designed specifically for 16:9. There are a few mods or a couple of 16:9 skins in development which can be found on the main site downloads section, or search the skins forum.

I use Razor which is distributed with 0.2RC2 onwards, but it's development seems to have halted. Mr Mario is currently developing Crystal Centre (see his blog on the main site) which I hope will be completed and become fully maintained in line with MP releases.
