widescreen skin for native 16:10 (1 Viewer)

Hi Folks,

Just in the process of installing MP for the first time. Quite exciting

Gotta ask a noob question. My primary monitor, an LCD flatpanel, runs natively at a 16:10 aspect ratio (1680 x 1050), but I see a lot of 16:9 skins and only one 16:10 skin. Can I use either "widescreen" aspect ratio, or am I confined to the single 16:10 ?

you can use any 16:9 skin!
you will not see any wrong aspect ratio.

Thanks mate. Got it up and running after one crash during setup when scanning channels. This is great!

I have a 16:10 display, too. Can I prevent any 16:9 skin from getting stretched by adding black bars for example?

not quite what you asked, but...

set desktop resolution to 1928x1080, add blackbars in your monitor's setup.
