Hi As you may or may not know, Windows Media Player 12(WMP 12) in Windows 7 comes with a built-in streaming feature. It allows streaming to either your local network, or if you forward a port in your router, it can stream out to the Internet. It's very sleek the way it works and was surprised that I didn't have to fuzz with for days to get it working. Anyway, I have an HTPC running WinXP MCE 2005 and would like to pick up WMP12's stream over the local network. However, there are no plugins for playing WMP12 streaming in MCE 2005 nor does WMP11 even find the shared libraries in WMP12. So I thought about checking in with the Media Portal crowd to see if something's in the works to make Media Portal and WMP12 Library streaming work together. It'll probably be a plug-in that would make WMP12 think that is talking to another computer running WMP12, thus allowing the Media Portal computer to play any of the videos in the WMP12 Library. :S:D:cool::thx:
