Win7 x64 and MCE, is IRSS the answer to my problems? (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys, I just upgraded to Win7 x64 from x86 (new machine with more memory being the primary reason). Anyway, I have noticed a lot of the buttons no longer work with MediaPortal (MCE remote enabled in config) using my MCE remote (tried multiple receivers and remotes to confirm).

I checked WMC, and remote buttons are picked up fine. Will IRSS solve my issues for this?, I plan to install it today so will find out I guess so will report back.

If anyone knows why MediaPortal doesnt work natively with MCE and win7 x64 that will also be good, works perfect with x86 install.

Ok, Tried IRSS but that didn't help...ie same buttons (like BACK) don't get picked up. Will have to do some more troubleshooting, otherwise back to x86 for me

Problem solved, was the built in IR receiver on my Fusion case...it was interfering with my standalone MCE receiver. I figured I disabled it but it wasn't! Why do they ship expensive cases with rubbish receivers!
