If the video capture input is "software encoding" (and most are), then the answer is no .... :(

However, if the video capture input is "hardware encoding", then it should already be supported. I don't know what type the Winfast PVR2000 is, but I strongly suspect that it is software encoding.

The PVR2000 is a hardware card ... I find no way to access the line in within this software?

Have you tried adding it as an external channel via the "Add CVBS/SVHS" button in MediaPortal Setup -> Television -> TV Channels?

    Thank you

    Thank you...
    Much apeciated
now how do you get increments of 5 minutes for recording rather than 30.. IE I want to record 5 minutes before the start of a show then for an hour and ten minutes so I have a 5 minute buffer either side ... it seems this is not an option for record from line in

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1
