Two new files posted to the SourceForge patches site located here (files are located at the bottom after the comments).

The new release was built by Tim Burt (I can take no credit for the 0.2.0 RC3 compiled version.

Tim has informed me that currently only the runtime is working but I'm sure he/everyone can get this back to 100% for all those users who are using WinLIRC.

Will there be an updated/recompiled version for RC4? Or does the RC3 version work with RC4?

I would assume that it will work with RC4 too, unless there have been changes to the core.

"hang on save settings"

I am using the winlirc plugin with success to use a Technisat TS35 remote with MP 0.2 RC3 e 4. I tried to share my experience putting it in the new wiki.

So I hope the plugin will be maintened and recompiled for the final release too.

A little bug I found is that sometimes (especially after a learning phase) the "save setting" produce an hang of the 2 opened windows ("MP setup" and the plugins ones). However in order to have the setting saved I just click on OK on the main window "MP setup".

Any other is having the same bug?

I'm wanting to get this working but I'm not sure what file I need to download. I'm seeing WinLIRC3.dll for MP0.1.1.1 and another for MP0.1.2.0+2005-05-05 . Can someone toss a newbie a clue?

i have a problem with the plugin.
when im in the epg, move up does not mork.
every other direction is working, but not up.
could please anyone, who has a working up button in the epg, post the up button part of his xml-file?

another thing i have noticed is, that when the screen is turned off (select blank and turn of in the configuration), and you press a button on the remote, the screen does not turn on again.
you have to move the mouse or press a button on the keyboard to turn it on again.

and something i would really like is a function to have a button assigned to turn the screen on and off.

For me WinLIRC3.0.2.0.RC3.dll WinLIRC Plugin doesn't work with MP 0.2 + stable patch 2006-07-29. It worked with 0.2RC3 and RC4.

I have the following error in Setup Media Portal/Plugin/Winlirc Receive right-click "activate":

"Unhalded exception has occurred in your applications...
Method not found: 'SingleMediaPortal.Profile.Settings.GetValuesAsFloat(System.String, System.String.Single)'"

Maybe it needs a recompile.

Please help
