I just bougt a WinTV-PVR-150 MCE and having problem installing the included remote. When the computer booting up my OS (Microsoft Windows XP Pro swedish) the window that tell me that the system have recognised a new device "eHome Infrared Transceiver".

First I used the included CD and tryed to install the drivers for the TV-card and the remote. The TV-card installed at no problem. But when trying to install drivers for the remote give me the message that the device can't be installed.

I've tryed to install diffrent versions of "IR32" but it just says "Failed to initialize Infrared Remote Hardware".

I've downloaded the drivers here:
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/support_pvr150.html#drv

I've also serched this forum to get any tips, but still get it to work.

I've also reinstalled the OS on the HTPC, but still cant get the remote to function.

Naturarily I've removed all drivers before I try another driver version with "hcwclear.exe".

The TV-card is recognized correctly by MediaPortal I'm running the latest stable version of MP.

The batterys in the remote is new and I've replaced them with others too. When I press a button on the remote, the reciever LED-light responds.

So now I have no ideas left what to do. Anyone have any tips.

Greetings...

You need to install the drivers for the remote, these aren't included in XP Pro so you need to download and install the XP MCE ones. Search the forums and you'll things lots of info on this.

That's true for Home, but not for Professional.

I have read that in the forum, but how do I find the drivers for the remote?
