I have successfully setup a Linksys NSLU2 with a Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2 and am able to stream TV in MPEG2 format over UDP to my MediaPortal server at a constant bitrate of up to 27 Mbps.
I'd like to use this setup in MediaPortal as a TV source and plan to develop a "tuner" plugin for this aproach. Could someone please point me at good starting points?
Later on I plan to add a couple of other USB devices to the NSLU2 and would like to use them in Media Portal through a network connection:
- Cinergy DVB-T receiver
- IR transreceiver
- IR keyboard
- LCD display
- Audio output
- Card reader
