Hello
I have installed IR Server Suite - Test Build 1.4.2.2391 on MP 1.0 and have found the following...
I am using this remote..
a Trust 2400 MS certified remote and it is recognised, and works, as follows...
in turn it is configured (the bottom buttons are greyed out and not selectable even with the disable WMC ticked or not)...
and I can check that when the PC boots the IR service is running fine...
all is fine and it works ok EXCEPT when the PC is rebooted.
The IR service is still running but as soon as I press TGB on the remote up pops the WMC config main blue screen and totally takes over the PC. This happens when MP is running and I use TGB on the remote or when just on the Windows desktop (Vista 32 SP1).
However if I run the Input Service Configuration again and then click ok it then states that the service will be restarted again. When it does this then TGB is disabled from starting the WMC config and it behaves how I would expect. It will continue this way until the PC is rebooted when I have to run the config again to prevent TGB from starting the WMC config.
Would I be right to expect the config of the IR suite to remain when the PC is rebooted or switched off without having to run the config for it each and every time to disable the WMC from running..?
Thanks for any help
