WMP visualisations (how to choose) (1 Viewer)

Hi,

in the visualisations setting under music, I'm only able to select the Alchemy visualisation in the settings, when using the BASS engine. How can I select other visualisations such as the Battery, which is included in WMP?

Running latest WMP11 on Vista 32-bit SP1.

Any ideas? Is battery supposed to be the only selectable vis?

I think the only standard Windows Vis is alchemy.
You can also use vis that works with Winamp. Search for the instruction thread.
Milkdrop for winamp is the best vis I've seen and I fully recommend it (but it has issues with Vista).

Ok, I thought you would be able to select from all installed WMP visualisations.

I can't remember exactly why, but I understand that using WMP vis is not a simple process.
I think it took quite a bit of work to get Alchemy to work.

Also, though, if you disable the Bass player I *think* then it will use the default WMP vis, but the BASS player is a lot better than the windows one.
