WMP11 error on start up (1 Viewer)

Hi,

on installing MP, I download WMP11 but this won't install giving a message saying " Operation Failed... The program is not a Windows or MS-DOS program"

I ignore and try to run MP, but it give an error message about WMP11 not being installed. If i click cancel it loads anyway.

Any ideas?

Wonder if the download is not corrupt. Can you try to re-download?

Hi,

worked it out. WMP was disabled as a Windows feature. Once reenabled it allowed me to install WMP11.
Could this check/ reminder be included in future versions of MP?
