Would like to fire the Restart.vbs from within MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Skin: All
Windows Version: 7 Ultimate x64
CPU Type: 3Ghz Quad AMD
HDD: 2TB
Memory: 8GB
Video Card: ATI 5780

OK, so I havew the issue with Windows 7 losing EDID and resizing when turning the TV back on, or switching inputs.
To fix it I need to restart MediaPortal, but to do that I need a keyboard or a mouse so I can restart it once it's shutdown.

Is there a way to fire the Restart.vbs from within MediaPortal? Or just restart it?
How about adding a restart to the close / windows restart / home options?

One option is to use Multishortcut, it can launch anything (atleast as far as I know) from the MP menus.

I use EventGhost for this. Pressing the GREEN button on the MCE remote for 3 seconds will call a restart script. very helpful in case of a hanging GUI. And it increases the WAF. But since Windows 7 I've never used it, because it's rockstable.
