Hello.
I am using TVE3 (latest SVN) with a single seat setup and have the following problem with DVB-S / S2 streams on my 16/9 LCD.
If I watch SD television I have no problem with 4/3 formats (i can leave NORMAL format and have a regular 4/3 image with black bars on sides or zoom with 14/9).
If I switch to HD channels I can see them regurarly with 16/9 format with fullscreen.
The problem arise if if go back to SD channels after having watched at SD. The image get stretch and aspect ratio is compromised. The 4/3 image is stretched to fill all the screen and, also if I change to all formats available, dimensions change but aspect ratio will remain wrong and stretched.
I have tried with various codecs without any luck. Currently I am using ffdshow for SD and Cyberlink for HD.
Any idea to solve my problem?
Also take care that when I am on a stretched 16/9 SD channel, if I simply stop and restart TV image get correct in 4/3. It seems that switching from a HD codec to a SD codec give this problem.
Thank you very much.
Christian
