I want to report a bug, which exists since I'm using Mediaportal(at least 1.1.0 Beta) and affects all versions up to now.
When I choose a channel the first time, the info in the home menu is displayed correctly.
When I switch to another channel, the previous channel is displayed. Pressing "Y" for showing the osd info updates the info in the home screen, so it's displayed correctly.
This bug exists when using Mediaportal's tvserver or 4tr - doesn't matter which one you use. Also the selected skin doesn't influence that fact.
Those circumstances don't only affect the tv area, it affects also recordings or videos. Just have a closer look at it, it's quite an obvious thing.
Especially those, who use an external display to show the media information, must have seen that bug many times, because after switching always the previous channel will be displayed for a longer time, until you manually press a button to show the osd, which updates that or Mediaportal updates the info automatically after about 30s or even more.
Here's a short video from my mainsys, where you can see, what I mean. On my htpc it's just the same.
