Hi All,

I am still new at Media Portal so please forgive me if this thread is on wrong place or its already being answered. I have installed Media Portal recently and i am impressed by wwitv feature.

1. I would like to ask if anyone of you is able to watch National Geographic channel and if so, could you please instruct me what to do so i will be able to watch it. I've heard that it was working before but now it doesnt.

2. Some high-speed bandwith channels such us: category MOVIES -> HDTV channel (2000k) it has a great picture but unfortenatelly its 'freezing' (bufering) every 20-30 seconds and than continuing again. This doesnt happens with lower-speed bandwith channels with not so high resolution picture. Is this happening with you too? Is there any settings or plugins which can fix that? My internet speed id not an issue, have adsl2...

Please advise...

Regards

i would say try the wwitv website. If the image is the same it is not about mediaportal wwitv plugin. I tried the 2 you said but hdtv was stuttering also if i did it direct by the wwitv website same for natianal geographic. So i do not know if the wwitv website ( servers ) is the problem or maybe hdtv channel and national geographic broadcasting itself. But you could send a mail to wwitv website.

By the way if you search for wwitv in the forums you find a large topic ( the one initiated by Vulture ) for the wwitv plugin. If you have new questions i would post them there so more people can help you.

thanks for that

i have realised that all high-bandwith itv channels are doing the same thing. the one would think the better bandwith better picture. it must be something local. not MP or Itv but maybe some codec or firewall/router settings...

any clues???

it's probably your internet speed... is the HD is streaming more data to you than your bandwidth can cope with.

nothing you can do about that other than get faster internet.

Not sure i can get faster. I have ADSL2, 24mbps. Have you checked yourself to watch any of the streaming channels with more than 1mbps bandiwth. If so and you dont have any problems, please let me know which one you tested...
