X10 Remote (IR/USB) - Can't figure out the plugins... (1 Viewer)

From what i have read in lots of other threads, I'll need the following to get my X10-remote to work with MP:
- InputDeviceEventManager
- X10Remote Plugin

.. but the ver. I have DL'ed seems to be missing the two files shown on the left;

Nopap said he had a solution to this on his site but I didn't fint relevant files there... anybody got a X10 remote working with MP and woul like to share his/her "secret"?

Hi!

I have the X10 remote working fine with MP. But I figured out that after applying a driver update (which came on the windows update page) it didn't work anymore. So i switched back to my old drivers and it's working again. So if you did this driver update from win update, try to restore your old driver.

Where did you find the AX*-file?

Which driver are you using (ver. etc)

I think everything is explained here. I didn't need to loads additional files.

My driver version for the device "X10 USB Wireless Transceiver V2.36" is "2.0.0.36", date: "01.11.2001".

FINALY got it working!!! Using Girder.

... but not in MP!!!

Can't get "up"/"down" to work....

Any chance there will be a plugin to Girder?

Hmm, I don't really get your point... I installed the InputDeviceMapper plugin and the X10 plugin for it. Works like a charme in MP. So no need for Girder... But if you are more satisfied using Girder, please do so.

Doesn't work with current CVS versions. Wait a bit and you'll get native support soon.
