XBMC clearArt (1 Viewer)

Not sure if this is possible, but something like clearart that exists in xbmc would look pretty sweet. Clearart is overlay artwork for specific tv shows that is displayed when the show is paused or while showing the show info while it's playing. Clearart (along with thumbs) can be downloaded from xbmc Stuff -:- Home. Here's a screenshot from the xbmc forums showing caprica clearart while that show is paused:

In the next version of tvseries the VideoOSD logo is customizable e.g. skinners can choose from Poster, Episode Thumb, custom etc

Currently *Custom* refers to a single image file, but we could add another option called ClearArt which points to a particular folder on the users system and if the <TVSeries.Series.Title>.png exists then it can be used.

Thanks, that would be awesome. It's one of the small touches that I miss from XBMC.

I expanded ClearArt support even further.. Skinner can now define number of additional images that get loaded during play.
