I reported this in SVN page but maybe it should be reported here. I changed from RC2 to RC3 a week ago and all turned pear shape. The DVB guide stopped working with no information displayed, the channel sorting in MP configuration went very slow like 10 seconds to respond to shift up or down and I found that the Channelinfo.xml or backups ended up in Start\Programs\Mediaportal where the start icons are stored rather than in the Team Mediaportal\MediaPortal folder. At times evrything temporarily locked up. For these reasons I have abandoned RC3 and will re-install RC2 this weekend. Are these events known universal issues?

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
