Newbie question.

I have a Hauppauge 1100 card and within MP have select channel data from DVB.

Do I still need to install XMLTV and sign up to a subscription to get updated EPG data ?

thx

Ditto.. I'm having problems with the Haup. 1300 card.

The channel names on the DVB seem to be different from the xmltv grabber (bleb) that I have been running.

Is any one else having these problems... before I get entangled in XML EPGeeeese?

If your using 0.2 RC2 Webepg is integrated into it. go to setup,TV channels,Hit backup, and save Channel list file NO typing as it does it for you into media portal. webepg will autorun with start of mediaportal. james shoot me if i'm wrong but it worked for me on clean install.

Hmm, I cannot now remember exactly what I did when I tested this. I think that on the "Mappings" tab: Enable or disable the "Partial match" and "Load radio channels" settings as you prefer. Select the channel group from the drop-down menu. Click the "Load/Refresh" button. Adjust the mappings as necessary. Click the "Save" button...

If your XMLTV guide isn’t populating, setting up an EPG Collector can solve the issue by giving you control over your guide data. This tool lets you customize the EPG to match your needs, ensuring accurate and complete listings. The main benefit of using an EPG Collector is flexibility. You can pull data from reliable sources, adjust...

Perhaps... Only way to confirm would be for me to invest in a different USB DVB-S2 tuner (like the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S2), which I might do if the issue persists.

Brief update... Hauppauge support responded quickly, stating that the "driver for all of our product confirm to the BDA format". Not sure what that means, but to test that, I downloaded a copy of Capture4Me, and indeed, it switches LNBs without any issues with minimal configuration (just set DiSEqC to 1.x A/B/C/D and select the...

It's getting weirder..... If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........
