I previously had RC3 running with the EPG working by using xmltv importer plugin and grabbing data with mc2xml. When I installed the 1.0.0 release version the xmltv plugin will detect channels, but will not import any of the programs. I have tried getting xml files using mc2xml, zap2xml, and even signed up for a trial account from schedules direct and grabbed that data with xmltv. Everything gave me the exact same result.

I ran out of ideas and thought maybe something happened when I installed so I uninstalled media portal and tried a new clean install. I am getting the exact same results. I verified the xml files I am trying to import using the tv_validate_file feature of xmltv. I have also verified that a copy of the dtd file was in the same folder as the tvguide.xml file.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I should try next? Is anyone else having this problem?

I have attached the log files from the last install.

Unfortunately the only solution I found was to switch to GB-PVR. I would love to hear a better answer, but if I don't I guess I will give media portal another look if/when I reinstall windows... :(

1.0.1.0 fixed

FYI: I just installed 1.0.1.0 and my problem went away. I have been using GBPVR for long enough now that I (and my wife) are used to it so we probably won't use Mediaportal much, just really wanted to know if the problem would go away with the new version...
