Every thing seems to work nicely except YouTube. I can get it to work if setting quality to normal but as you can imagine that's not what I want. Any ideas?

Cyberlink H264/AC1 codec was the cause. Selecting a different codec within Settings->My Videos (FFDSHOW) solved the problem.

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
