If you can shut down your PC with your remote when MP is not running, it is configured wrong. If this is not the case, someone will need to investigate this issue.
Another tip is to make sure that it is TV-server power scheduler that sends the PC to sleep. MP power scheduler (MP Configuration) should be activated, but not configured to send the PC to sleep. The MP plugin makes sure that TV-Server does not send the PC to sleep while in use.
Disclaimer: I did not look at the logs.
You have to make sure that the PC is sent to sleep by MediaPortal if MediaPortal is supposed to wake it up. If you send your PC to sleep by pressing e.g. the power button of your remote, you must set up windows to ignore clicks to the powerbutton. Else...
If you can figure out the missing frequencies that should be scanned it is relatively easy to add them. For now you can do a complete scan on "all frequencies".
When first line is selected and you click up it goes to the last item. From your report I cant tell if it does the intended behavior or not. You need to put some screenshots and more explanations to clarify.
The subs seems slightly early on both players. When we (tourettes) developed the dvb subtitles, I used a desktop video recorder to check how many frames late the subtitles where.
I tested on my dev PC, haven't tested on htpc yet.
Codecs on dev PC are MS for mpeg2/h264. ffdshow for mpeg/AC3 audio. Monogram for AAC. Audio renderer is default direct sound.
Re: AW: Directly going to hibernate again after wake-up
You should increase the number from 5 to something higher. It is a setting to prevent the machine from going to standby for X amount of seconds after wake-up.
I have suggested that we increase the default grace period to prevent such suspends. Let's see if we do it for next MP release. For now you will have to use the above workaround. Therefore I set this thread to "will not fix", but don't take that too literally :)
If you experience this problem, you can work around it by adding this setting to your mediaportal.xml settings file:
<section name="general">
<entry name="suspendgraceperiod">5</entry>
The grace period work around was included in 1.2.0 beta, but you need to enter the setting manually.
