A guy is continuing the improvement of our favorite catalog manager program, in a unofficial way.

He said this:

Later, in a new major version (4.X), I will add a fields manager where you will can:
- add or delete custom fields
- choose name and type of a custom field
- choose position of fields with multi tabs features
- show or hide a field
- etc...

Well, this sounds really like great news ... and there IS now source code available (there was some mods available in the past, that didn't provide sources).
Will have a closer look and contact that guy to see, if we can get those limitations removed, that are important for MyFilms. Maybe Antoine is also willing to support that mod as successor of official AMC - that would give us the possibility to support an 4.x version in MyFilms ... thanks for pointing to it!

Rally exiting news , Soulsnake & Antoine (author of Ant catalog) talking in that forum to mack this unofficial mod to official version in the future... 4.xx ,

maybe time to test Ant again after so many years ...

After some discussion, we're currently close to what myfilms would need to support "extended fields" - so we're waiting for Antoine to comment on it and about how to integrate those extensions into AMC itself.
