Auto sound switching from PC to HDMI connected Sony Bravia, HOW ! (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,
First may I apologise if this is a stupid, already discussed or known issue but I don't have a clue.
I'm 52 and get so totally confused with all the termology this day and age, it's like a foriegn language.
Running MP with MPStreamed skin on W7 62bit PC connected to Sony Bravia via HDMI cable.
I have searched and read for ever but don't seem to be able to find a way to auto switch the sound from PC to TV when MP boots up.
It's now a case of saying to my wife OK lets watch a film through this great software and looking a prat because the sound comes from the PC rather than the TV so I have to get up and click through 2 or 3 processes just to set the sound to TV. Then the next day boot PC up and no sound because I then have to reset.
Surely there is an easier way,
I'm being stupid arn't I, please don't be angry with me, I'm learning slowly.
Getting my DreamBox to record through it is my next mission but if anyone can help with this one I'd be grateful.

Thought I'd update my own thread.
Found the answer, installed 'ARC - Audio Renderer Changer', just fantastic as it seems to autoselect the input and steers the sound right to the TV. Just hope I've set it up correctly.
Everyone might be aware of this but there might just be someone else out there as confused as me and this may help them.
God I love this, will defo be donating some dosh when it's my birthday in June.
