Best "Hi-Fi" settings for stereo installation

Hi,

I have a stereo only installation, and I'm looking for the best audio quality in both music and videos (I have a lot of DVD/Bluray rips concerts)
I'm using the intel mainboard spdif output, that is connected to my stereo DAC.

So I'm a little bit confused with choosing the best settings.
Bit-Perfect, asio, wasapi, exclusive mode, DD/DTS downmixer, reclock, LAV filters/ffdhow, pure audio plugin....

Help would be appreciated
