I updated to 1.33 today and I thought everything went smoothly except on restarting MediaPortal requests me to specify the IP address or host name of the master TV service. The current setting is MediaPortal, (as usual), and when I confirm this it reports that it is connected to the TV Server but is unable to connect to the database. It advises that all IP ports are OK. Unfortunately I am at a loss as to know what to do from this point and I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Cheers TW (Log attached)

You can try the internal test version; when installing, it is better to select the advanced mode and indicate that the SQL server is already installed. Because This is still a test, so it’s worth taking care of the backup.

Since MP1.33 you have to start the TV service as an administrator. I only recently found this out too

Hi Andreas2, I don't think that is the problem because the service is running. It's the database that has gone missing. Thanks anyway for your reply
