When you select a preset for a music visualisation with selectable presets in MP configuration, the configuration resets to no visualisation at all after closing the configuration tool.
Steps to reproduce:
Beforehand you must have installed at least one visualisation for Windows Media Player which has selectable presets (e.g. Trilogy I,II or III).
You can download many for free from Microsoft.
- open configuration tool
- go to "Music"-section
- select "BASS engine" in tab "Player settings"
- check "Show visualisation (BASS player only)" in tab "Now playing"
- go to tab "Visualisation"
- select a visualisation with presets
- select a preset except for the default one (use second, thiird or forth preset)
- close configuration with "OK"
- re-open configuration tool
- navigate to music-section --> visualisation-tab
- MP has reset the whole visualisation to "None"
Visualisations with presets are not reset to "None" only if you leave the preset at the default-value (the first shown in select-box)
I have not supplied any logs because AFAIK there are no logs created when working with the configuration tool
Kind regards
Roger
