Freezing when fast forwarding (1 Viewer)

I have media portal 1.12.0 installed on two pc's running Windows 10. Both will freeze if I attempt to fast forward faster than x4. This was not a problem with an earlier version of MP installed on the same pc's. Is there a solution? Thanks

You are not giving us much info to work with....is this with live TV, recorded TV, other video content, and are the files stored locally or on the network etc etc. ?

Which was the 'earlier' version of MP ?

How about some log files too ?
