Green Button not Loading MP Win7 x64

Hi,

I've seen a number of threads on this but still no success for me.
Just installed MP 1.2.3 and MPTray will not work with loading MP if it is not already open. This is what I have tried:
- disabled in MP configurator WMC being loaded with the MCE remote.
- loading the x64 version of MPtray - I did this in the following way:
- downloaded the x64 MPTray version from the forums
- uninstalled the existing version.
- disabled loading of mptray in MP configurator
- rebooted
- copied the x64 mptray files into the mp folder in the "Program Files" folder
- installed the new version of mptray and rebooted again.
- enabled the loading of mptray in mp configurator.

any ideas?

Hi ,

i have the same problem that mptray does not work and found a tip in one of the threads:

Use "EventGhost".
I disabled mptry an installed Eventghost only for starting MP. It works brilliant.
I shut down MP with the Power button on the remote and start it with the "green" button.
For this simple function i need no additional MP-plugin or special configuration.
Here you find a small tutorial in german.
