New version 0.0.1.123 available, see first post. Also updated in repository.

This adds the following fixes/features:
• Skin-property #HeadWeb.MovieIsHD added
• Plugin has entered Beta-status

Now it's time to gather feedback and get any bugs out of the machine-room. Any volunteers? ;)

Hi pilehave,

The streamedmp skin has a problem in the menu, it is not possible
to traverse the whole list. Pressing down when "bestsellers" is highlighted
just closes the menu.

Cheers /Per

Try and install the latest version if you have not done that already. It works fine for me in StreamedMP

Strange, I have the latest version version and it works with default wide but not with streamedmp.
I have included error.log and mediaportal.log from a debug session where I just open mp, select
headweb and open the menu, press down to move from "layout" to "bestsellers", press down again
to move to "newest" but instead the menu closes.

The error from your log says that something in the skin (a textcontrol) is using ID 4. Unfortunately ID 4 in HeadWeb is the "Newest" button, so there is a conflict. The error.log is created because MediaPortal tries to use the textcontrol as a button. This also explains your closing menu :)

I have not been able to find a textcontrol with ID 4 in any of the included files.

Only option I see is to try and update StreamedMP - or try and find out where this ID 4 comes from. Skin-controls not part of the plugin, should not use any other ID than 0 (zero).

Hmm, updating streamedmp did not help and I haven't done any manual editing
in the skin files so it must be something dependent on the skin configuration done
in the editor or some other plug-in, I guess. Just tried to search for

in the streamedmp folder but the windows 7 search function acts very strangely,
it doesn't even find the headweb.xml file, which for sure contains this, even though
the indexing function is configured to index the contents of xml files????

If you still has this problem, you could try and pack your StreamedMP files in a zip and upload them somewhere, so that I can try with the same files.

Maybe we can find the problem.

Thanks, I'd appreciate if you could have a look! I have attached a zip with
the XML files from the streamedmp folder.

I found the problem, and it is indeed inside the StreamedMP files.
The problem is located in this control, in myvideoFilmstripView.xml:

Code:
<control>
<type>textbox</type>
#mpaarating
<posX>410</posX>
<posY>365</posY>

mediastream10
<visible>facadeview.filmstrip+control.isvisible(4441)+!string.starts(#mpaarating,<)+!string.starts(#mpaarating,unknown)</visible>
<animation effect="fade" time="250">WindowOpen</animation>
<animation effect="fade" time="250">WindowClose</animation>
</control>

See the CDATA? Not allowed in a visibility condition. I think the StreamedMP skin-file is the problem. Removing the condition fixes the problem for me. You could try it as well. If it does fix it, I'll have to ask the StreamedMP team to fix it on their side.

EDIT: I don't know what is up or down on this issue, I could recreate the problem with your files, but installing latest StreamedMP and rebooting fixed the issue. The code in myvideoFilmstripView.xml is the same though.

Anyways, try reinstalling again and maybe reboot.

HeadWeb Failed to render file -> vmr9

Hi Pilehave, thanks for the plugin - it makes or would make my media center complete.
The problem is that I cannot get it to play any trailer, movie or samples. In the error.log i've found: "HeadWeb Failed to render file -> vmr9"
I used Watchdog.exe to generate the attached log report. It seems to store all relevant info, if something is missing the please write.

Hope you can help.:D

Med venlig hilsen
