I am still using MP as the main source for TV-dvbs and movies. But on demand streaming like Netflix and Spotify aren't well supported by MP. Yes I know we have Onlinevideos as the plugin to reach out to all kind of online sources. But hè, would you trust your wife or children with MP if something doesn't work? It's a great platform, MP, but it is not something everyone can use. A simple example is Netflix , and sattelite tv. I have three cards all with duo LNB and c+ modules. To set this up you need to dig deep into wiki and forums to get the front-end working as it should. And if something is changed on the provider side: you need to start over again, tuning a single transponder, changing a single setting like rollover, nothing is automated on the dvbs-site, you can't even re-scan a sattelite or package and have all your channels updated the way it should. It just can't. It is all manual. That's ok to me, because I like that and I know how to, but my wife, friends, parents, children. They'll have no clue if they are left over the weekend with MP, if am traveling for bussines, and something goes wrong. It's a hobby platform. So yes MP is great . But it will die.
