Just so we are clear. I haven't changed any settings at all before I posted for help and up to now in the codecs. Are you saying that just by me clicking on the audio tab they all changed automatically to lav?

Technically the settings didn't change because they weren't set previously... but aside from that, yes that's exactly what I'm saying.
...and "the proof should be in the pudding" - the problem should be solved.

    Hi,
Unfortunately nothing has changed. All the codecs are on LAV for audio and video. You pause for a few seconds and then the lipsync is out by about a half a second to a second.

Do you have any other ideas?

Something to check - in LAV Audio settings, check that 'Auto A/V Sync correction' is ticked:

    Hi Owlsroost,

Thanks for your tip. I gave it a go but it made no difference. What I did find that seems to have fixed it is by changing the Audio Renderer to MediaPortal Audio Renderer. I can press pause now for 5 seconds or longer and then when I replay it plays fine.

Thanks guys for all your support :)
