Ok, I made a 4 bit (16 colors) bmp, 640x480. I am not sure what more is needed but take a look at it and let me know what you think.

A sugegstion : you could had some logos that are used in MediaPortal (Mp3, DivX, DVD... DolbySurround / Digital ?) !

looks really nice and stylish samsonite, but i think the "loading"-text should have a bold font weight, so it is also readable on normal tv sets.

Indeed looks cool, as maniac's mentioned, maybe some logos.
I save the bootscreen.bmp to my pc, but it apears to be 8bit, not the requested 4bit. Can you verify ?
