Hello friends,

here you can find a comparison table between the characteristics of all Open Source media centers posted by Telematics Freedom Foundation . It is not a review but it shows that MP is loaded with features compared to other MCs. It referrs to MP RC3 but I'm not sure if it is the 2010 version, or the 2009. Most probably it is the latter.

In terms of actual reviews/comparisons I found this one comparing MP to MCE ("Mediaportal V Media Center? Which to choose?")

A lot of good words for MP but the conclusion is in favour of MC... I guess that if the same review was done on today's very stable version of MP the outcome would be different. No?

I don't know whether u look for something like this; a compare of MediaPortal, XMBC, Boxee. Unfortunately it's in Dutch.
