I'd like to thank You for MediaTip (0.4.7). Under BlackGlass skin it's perfect for me! Great job!
The only question from me. While playing music file and browsing MediaTip shows info just for playing file but not for browsed one. Is this correctable behavior?

yes, this is the correct behavior. Inside the newest version, which will distributed tomorrow, you can configure the handling using a special option.

Hi Micropolis, your plugin wont start unless you configure media information window in configuration. Default is unchecked and not configured.

Dear Micropolis, here You are my modest wish for improving MediaTip. Look. As almost always media file has a several Audio streams. And almost always English stream is much better than international ones But as You can understand it's international stream that have a real value So it would be great to have a list of all audio streams with language label.

Hi Micropolis,

Just installed the latest version of this plug and am sorry to say for whatever reason I am still unable to get this to go at all. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
The weird thing is that for example sleep control activation is working just fine with a remote red button assigned to it. So I would think since you are the author of these 2 the underlying method would be pretty much identical. However when I disable sleepcontrol (so it does not hog the red button) and enable mediatip, set to activate on red button it just does not do anything.
I have the skin files in the folder, nothing shows up in the logs. Is there any other debugging I can do? I would like to get this to go

Migh be worth mentioning every last piece of media is on a networked PC. If you want I can set up something local to test with, haven't yet.

a hotfix version of MediaTip was published, it fixes a small configuration issue (thx to ltfearme).

splinty: I'll check the possibility to display audio streams in the next few weeks.
joz: Yesterday I've made some tests with network drives and all is working properly. Can you explain me your problem a little bit better? Is it a FTP share, a mapped network drive or an unmapped network drive? Thx.

Hi Micropolis,

First of all for trying to figure out my problem, if I can help you in any way at all please tell me what to do, here or per PM (whatever is preferable).
The shares are all unmapped network shares, no FTP. I do have a couple mapped network drives but I do not use them inside MP.
The unmapped location for my music is "\\NAS\Backup (F)\Music\Jos".
Hope that helps in any way.
