When using ASIO with BASS-player, only the left VU-meter needle moves when playing music.
    The right VU-meter is dead.
(I remember that in older versions of MP neither left nor right VU-meters was working with ASIO)

    Steps to reproduce:

    - in MP-configuration go to music-section
    - select BASS-engine as player in tab "Player settings"
    - go to tab "Now Playing" and check "VU Meter Analog"
    - go to section "Music ASIO"
    - check "Use ASIO..."
    - select ASIO Device (ASIO4ALLv2 in my case)

Start MP and play a music-file.
In my case only the left VU-meter needle moves.

Bug could be possibly restricted to S/PDIF output (as in my setup)?

(Addition: with the PureAudio plugin as audio-player configured also to play with ASIO/ASIO4ALL none of the VU-meters moves. Though this will probably be an issue for the respective plugin developer it possibly hangs together with this issue here.)

    Kind regards

    Roger

    Hi Roger

I can reproduce, and my setup is a plain analog stereo output. If I remember correctly, the ASIO code uses a mixer in some way, and that is probably the reason for this.
